Water Treatment Plants

Water Treatment Plants:

1. RO PLANTS :

RO-Plant
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is considered as most economical water treatment process in any industry. Reverse Osmosis a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove larger particles from water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure. Reverse Osmosis can remove many types of molecules and ions from solutions, including bacteria, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

2. SOFTENERS / CARBON / SAND FILTERS :

Water softening is an ion exchange process to removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. This is most suitable in Commercial / Industrial applications where Total hardness is < 1000ppm. Based on capacity of softener, resin bed needs to be regenerated with Nacl (Common salt)solution to activate resin.
